My life is super hectic right now. How would I even start on a self-awareness journey?
If your life is hectic now, it will always be hectic unless you take even just a tiny step in a different direction. While I don’t like to encourage multi-tasing as it causes so much stress in our lives, I do love a good audiobook while doing other mundane things, like laundry or taking a walk. My favorite suggestion for a place to start is Eckhart Tolle’s book, The Power of Now. It’s easily digested in small chunks. Just a few minutes, or a few pages if you prefer, will give you plenty to contemplate. A simple meditation practice can help reduce stress and anxiety, while increasing self-awareness and clarity. If 20 minutes of meditation feels overwhelming, then try 5 minutes. And, oh by the way, I just happen to have a 5 minute meditation recorded for you on Spotify. (Shameless plug)
